The Burns Full Service Double Barrel Bourbon
Customized Exclusive TWO Barrel Small Batch bourbon from personally selected barrels. ONLY 420 numbered bottles.
- Barrel #51: Almost 7 years old – Brown sugar. Apple pie & cinnamon. Caramel and molasses on the finish. Rich, balanced and full.
- Barrel #38: Almost 5 years old – Great Nose! Sweet butter with a taste of citrus. Char and Burnt oak on the finish. Very light Caramel and brown sugar.
We then blended and bottled these two barrels to create a wonderful and balanced, yet flavorful bourbon.
The blend is 45% Barrel #5 and 55% Barrel #38 The Full Barrel Proof is 56.95%
Taste and smell Analysis:
Awesome nose! Caramel, charred Oak and honey, very light citrus from Barrel #38.
A Big Full Flavored Bourbon! Just the right balance of caramel, brown sugar, and charred oak.
The more it sits on the palate, the more subtle citrus comes out.
Richness from the mature Barrel #51 and hints of molasses throughout the palate.
Spice and just the right amount of oak finish.
Holds up well with water – Incredibly smooth, rich, and full. Great Classic Bourbon Flavor!

- These bourbons (2 separate barrels) were selected by Casey Burns sampling from 10 different barrels that had already been pre-selected for their quality, richness and individual flavor characteristics.
- Casey and team chose to combine two of the sample barrels tasted to create a deeper, fuller flavor that had the best from both barrels.
- The labels are custom designed with the assistance of Barrel & Bottles’ professional graphic artist.
